Why we throw this thing

A festival that feels like a backyard, only louder.

Riverside Sounds started as a one-evening show for friends and neighbours, a couple of local bands and a borrowed sound system on the grass. A few summers later it’s three days, two stages, and a lineup that runs from river-folk to late-night rock — but the vibe never left the backyard.

Come for the headliners, stay for the food trucks on the water, the sunset sets on the Riverside Stage, and a crowd that sings along to songs they heard for the first time an hour ago. Bring your people. The river’s doing the rest.

Good to know

The stuff everyone asks.

What time do gates open?

Gates open at 2:00 pm every day. Music starts at 4:30 pm and runs until 11:00 pm.

Is it all ages?

Yep. Kids 12 and under get in free with a ticket-holding adult, and anyone 16+ can come on their own.

Can I leave and come back?

Sure can. Your wristband gets you in and out all day, as many times as you like.

What if it rains?

We play through it — rain or shine. Pack a poncho and good shoes; it’s a riverside, so the grass gets dewy.

What should I bring?

A refillable water bottle (free fill stations on site), sunscreen, a blanket or low chair, and ID if you’re grabbing a drink.

Are there refunds?

Tickets are fully refundable until June 15, 2027. After that, exchanges only.

Three days on the river. Don’t sit it out.
